A new law restoring voting rights to about 41,000 Missourians with past felony convictions takes effect today, in time to register for November. Like all states, Missouri disproportionately incarcerates Black residents, meaning that this reform will shift some voting power to Black Missourians.

A new law will restore voting rights for tens of thousands of people on probation and parole. It’s a departure from other GOP bills this session to restrict democracy.

Renaming the USS Doris Miller after Trump would be unprecedented and a direct attack on Black history. Doris Miller was a brave servicemember who stepped outside the bounds of his own rank to save the lives of his fellow men during Pearl Harbor. He deserves for his memory to be honored.

Together, we took down Amendments 4 & 5 by 80% of the vote! But August was just the beginning. November is next, and every politician who ignored working families' needs to know we showed up in August, we'll show up again, and if you don't listen to us, you'll lose your seat!

Congress needs to take action to stop this destructive attack on the US economy, but Ann Wagner and her Republican allies are nowhere to be found. We need to elect real leadership like @wellmanformo.bsky.social that will but an end to these tariff fights that are hurting working Missourians.

You can’t afford groceries or gas or healthcare or childcare or utilities or rent? No worries. I’m sure the president will get right on it after he does the important work of renaming lakes in his pissing match with Canada…

📚 Back to school is exciting. It’s also a reminder of just how much we ask of our families, our teachers, and our schools. For too long, Missouri has expected our public schools to do more with less. Strong schools build strong communities. And our kids are worth the investment.

Missouri's Amendment 3 would restore an abortion ban with limited exceptions, but its advertising is focused on a different provision: banning gender transition care for minors. The campaign never explicitly states it would repeal the constitutional right to abortion voters approved 2 years ago.

Missouri Republicans Are Trying to Repeal Abortion Rights by Leaning Into Anti-Trans Sentiment

Two years after falsely linking reproductive rights to gender transition care for minors, GOP lawmakers have packaged the two issues into one amendment in an effort to strip away the right to abortion...

Folks, today's ruling was not unexpected and the groups working to defend the rights of Missourians are prepared. Now, it is left to the Missouri Supreme Court to put an end to a process that has been intentionally delayed by Secretary of State Denny Hoskins. More to come soon.
