good news everyone! OpenKH will no longer be using genAI. The Kingdom Hearts modding community can rest easy.

Discord announcement from TopazTK:
A poll was made in OpenKH concerning the use of Generative AI in its codebase. It was overwhelmingly decided by the community that Generative AI should **NOT** be used within OpenKH. As such, the announcement I have made about OpenKH is hereby null and void.

However, I did promise to develop a version of the Mod Manager with all the features the aforementioned PR had whilst not using any LLMs to generate code. As such, since I am a man of my word, focus will be shifted to that direction until said promise is kept. This will mean Re:Fined is on a temporary hold.

As a compromise, I will also implement extractionless building as a treat.

I will release the latest version of Re:Fined KH2 before I fully commit, and a BETA for Re:Fined KH1 sometime next week to close the gap.

As you may or may not be aware, Re:Fined has a very strict No Generative Al policy. Nothing that gets into Re:Fined is to be generated artificially and if there is a tool and/or project that IS using content or code that is generated artificially, alternatives will be sought. This is one of the primary reasons (but not the sole reason) of the codebase moving from GitHub to Codeberg.

As it stands right now, OpenKH's Mod Manager is getting an overhaul in a grand PR, however, this presents a dilemma: This PR is almost entirely Al generated. Now, I would like to first present my thanks to Yokimitsuro for his transparency on the usage of LLMs and artificially generated code. It is good to see when people own up to using LLMs in their code and are transparent about it.

OpenKH is not affiliated with Re:Fined. It never was. I was once a decision maker in the project but I have long since left. OpenKH does NOT share Re:Fined's views on usage of Generative Al and LLMs nor does it have any obligation to do so. As such, I cannot help with this PR being judged and merged even though most of the codebase is artificially generated.

Now, Re:Fined tries it's best to find any alternative possible without Al intervention. But in this case, there simply isn't any. Even though I am disappointed that there will be code that is artificially generated in OpenKH and one of its biggest tools, Mod Manager, being based entirely on generated code: There is nothing any one of us can do to side-step or avoid it.
