We commemorate the 61st anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid in the aftermath of Trump & Republicans devastating cuts to Americans’ health care.

One of the proudest moments of my time in public service was sponsoring the ADA & seeing it through to enactment. As we celebrate the ADA's 36th anniversary, let us remember its intent to ensure nondiscrimination, public accommodation, equal access, & inclusion for all Americans with disabilities.
