The 30th mayor of Birmingham, Alabama. Focusing on Putting People First in all 99 Neighborhoods.

Our city is moving forward on a daytime "Urban Oasis" for unhoused residents. It will be a safe, structured space with connections to housing, mental health care, and addiction treatment. And it will include restrooms, lockers, coffee, and dog run – open 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Birmingham, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to every voter, volunteer, supporter, and believer who made this moment possible. From East Birmingham to West End, from North Birmingham to Avondale, you showed up yesterday because you know Birmingham deserves leadership that puts people first.
