The jujube in my #foodforest are ripe. Before moving to #Bulgaria, I'd never tasted this fruit. It's delicious, with a flavour like apples and dates mixed, with a hint of lemon. Jujube grow really well here in Bulgaria, and they can cope with drought. #permaculture #fruitgrowing

Why do the AI scam emails summarize my book for me? Imagine they were targeting restaurants instead. "Your pizza contains sauce and cheese, and sometimes, but not always pepperoni. I specialize in connecting eaters with unique and interesting food, like pizza with cheese."

I just want to warn people about Pixella. It seems to offer inexpensive image edits, where you pay a small sum for an edit. But in doing so, so are tricked into an expensive subscription in the small print. I fell for it, as did many others before me. I wish I'd seen the warnings earlier.

It's plum season here in #Bulgaria. My #organic #permaculture #foodforest #orchard is full of plums, especially cherry plums, of many varieties, colours and flavours. In my village, plum trees grow like weeds, and this year, they're bearing an incredible abundance.
In hot dry weather, bees desperately need water to drink and to carry back to their hives. Create a drinking station. Fill a bowl with stones, sticks, corks and water, so they can drink without drowning. Top up the clean water when it evaporates. #permaculture #bees #nature #wildlife

I have lots of butterflies again. My garden in Bulgaria is a pesticide-free paradise for bees and butterflies. They especially love the buddleias. (Pictured: buddleia weyeriana. I don't know the name of the butterfly.)
