Learned today that my public institution in a red state will no longer offer courses in biblical studies after this term. It's a weird feeling. Several of the legislators who created this odd environment for higher ed won't stop talking about how students need to study great texts. But, here we are.

The absolute disdain this man has for faculty is so obvious throughout this interview. Solidarity with my former colleagues in Ohio who continue to deal with the fallout of his wrath. 🫤
