I try to avoid overreacting to one night even this late in the season but I think the White Sox lost the AL Central tonight

Newcomb is spent. The whole bullpen is fucking gassed.
I don't know how people who travel all the time do it. We just got back from the least-taxing three-night trip possible and I feel like I need to lay on the couch and do nothing for the next week.
White Sox should keep this up. Would be nice to have a rare stress-free win at this point in the season.
Just @themountaingoats.bsky.social playing “Candlebox,” their song about a band that opens for Candlebox, while opening for Candlebox tonight in St. Louis.
Tommy Pham was inspired by learning that Jordan Walker just became their first first Cardinals to go 20/20 since he did it in 2017
Got tickets months ago to a meaningless game in St. Louis that just so happened to overlap with the biggest game of the White Sox season 🤷♂️
Oh my god Patrick Bailey is gonna hit a walk-off home run
The White Sox will leave Cleveland, at worst, tied in the loss column and with the tiebreaker over the Guardians in their possession.
Miguel Vargas entered the year with 16 career stolen bases and he just stole his 19th base of the year in 21 attempts.
Gonna be so awesome when Hagen Smith gets the final out of the ALCS
Peters' last PA only lasted two pitches so I guess he's washed
OK but if the White Sox blow this we're gonna remember that too
Tristan Peters!! 18-pitch walk That’s tied for the fifth-most pitches in a PA since pitch counts tracked (1988) It’s tied for the MOST in a PA ending in a walk in that span! (6/10/04 Adam Kennedy)
Lol man Colson had had a nice night out there to that point too
Obscure stat/fun fact/whatever: The last two times a White Sox led the league in runs were both shortened seasons (TA in 2020, Frank in 1994). Before them, the last White Sox to lead the league in runs was ... Johnny Mostil in 1925. Relevant because Vargas has a shot this year.
Tristan Peters drew a walk to end an 18-pitch plate appearance and it saved the White Sox season
The White Sox have multiple hits with runners in scoring position in this inning alone, and that has allowed them to score a few runs.
Tristan Peters uses his head to break up a potential double play and give the White Sox the lead
