I don't know if the Giants are a great, or even good, football team right now. But I do know that they're scrappy, have ATHLETES on defense, enough on offense to grind out points, and a beastly kicking game. They're young and they're a problem long-term if the kids keep taking steps.

Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, Andrew Thomas, and Brian Burns all hurt. The Giants probably would have been better off just conceding before the game and moving on to Week 3.
If the Giants can't have a normal passing attack, they're cooked. They might have gone into the Bye 4-2 or 5-1, but if they don't have a passing attack, things will be ugly. Greg Roman UNGA BUNGA CAVEMAN BALL doesn't work without a passing attack.

The Giants showed this look a few times over the preseason and I absolutely love it. It seemed effective every time they used it. I've been wondering how they'll get Burns, Carter, Thibodeaux, and Arvell Reese on the field at the same time, and this seems like a good vehicle.
