Once I’m more comfortable with manipulating encaustic paint I want to make a series of paintings depicting how I view the Holy Ghost. I’ve always been terrified by the concept of it but it does play a potent role in my work subconsciously

As a Korean that has worn masks for decades, I think all the time about how if people had normalized wearing masks in the U.S. instead of leaving it to those most vulnerable and sick to wear them, instead of leaving it to those at the front lines fighting against genocide and pandemics to wear them,
