Thankyou Zuckerberg for setting back the entire metaverse future. Should have learned the lessons from the past, paid attention to those of us in the previous wave. Could have been so much better with all that money !

Today has involved walking, swimming, hand style Tai Chi broadsword, ludosport/light sabre forms, Cho kwang do patterns all out in the lovely sunny weather (not the swimming that was indoors but in 30C pool :) ) So many things to enjoy and try to improve on bit by bit.

Saw Book of Mormon in london today with Jan. It was hilariously good. Very very life of Brian meets south park 🙂 (unsurprisingly given the creators). :)

Today marks the first day of my official retirement!!! I've completed the main mission of the RPG called work, maxed my levels and dealt with quite a few side missions that came my way. Thank you everyone who has made this part of the journey of life such a blast!

Awesome album just arrived. Brian Setzer Orchestra vol 2. A live Tokyo concert with Setzer’s wonderful rockabilly guitar and crooning voice with some classic band tunes and lots of stray cats too. Including my all time favourite song Stray Cat Strut. It works as big band as much as a 3 piece.

Jewel - Pieces of you 30th anniversary edition ! Such a fantastic singer. We saw her in Southampton 30 years ago. Vinyl just released and arrived (now playing)

My copy of the last book has arrived. Wonderful piece of literature and art. Post card top left describes it 🙂

Well prof Richard A. Bartle reworking of Designing Vrtual Worlds (volume 1 second edition) has arrived 🙂 obviously I have not read it all yet it’s clearly got everything in it and loaded with a personal touch in writing style that’s chuckle inducing. I.e Here have some optimism.

Watched #KpopDemomHunters last night on Netflix. It is a really entertaining and good film. The music is fantastic too. It is not taking itself too seriously, but equally doesn’t mock current culture either.

Well done to the IBM Wimbledon team. The court view on the app pulling in the live trajectory of the point and the placement of the players. Our 2006 second life version was a bit slower 🙂 had to be after the point was played when we got the data. Love the app view though 🙂

I popped to the greenhouse with my Rabbit R1 in hand as a helper. It was great to ask some questions to the walkie talkie AI with a camera on it :) Easier to press a talk button than mess with the phone. Also took some “magic camera” pictures asking it to make a few style changes.

Job done - 2 day greenhouse build but fun
