Long-time admirer of the Cursor team, few have done more to bring AI coding to the world. Excited to continue to partner with them.

We're seeing several of our customers be targeted by fraudulent requests and glad for all the work Stripe is doing to help them. Still a lot of work to do, these sort of attacks hurt everyones ability to provide usage to legitimate users.
this was my change, excited to roll it out Claude now has a SendFeedback tool so instead of you guys having to hit /feedback and write up a report, you can just tell Claude to draft and approve it the feedback helps us improve and understand problems, so it's very appreciated
excited to share more on how we’re making Claude Code more hackable soon
a skill people at Anthropic have been using a lot recently: ELI5 /eli5 <what you want explained> "explain like I'm someone who knows nothing about this topic, using a HTML artifact with big pictures and few words"
we're launching new Fable safeguards for enterprises that work on your infrastructure so you have control over where your data lives & who has access to it we've been developing it alongside ~100 companies for a bit and hoping to roll it out more broadly in the fall
I saw this demo last summer and told Sam he needed to ship it, so glad it’s out. It’s really fun. It’s one of the first games that really uses AI capabilities to unlock new gameplay.
for its entire existence, the creation of software has been an incredibly unreliable endeavor most projects ran late, over budget, and still missed user needs if you were an SMB, you simply couldn't get good software built for you this is the promise of the 'software factory'
weird that there's a "make a lot of money" button and nobody's pressing it (take your SaaS, make it headless, let agents use it, charge per interaction esp for enterprises)
go into CC and type /design <something you want to design> do it rn
all of the recent proc gen art, video editing and 3d game demos recently have made me update towards LLM coding models being better at a lot of creative work than diffusion models
it says a lot that the creators of three of the most iconic web frameworks: django (@simonw), flask (@mitsuhiko) and rails (@dhh) were so AI pilled so early
Watermarking without quality loss is a bit unintuitive, doesn't feel like it should work. I made this artifact with Claude to help me understand how it works, sharing in case it's helpful. QT: https://twitter.com/i/status/2088343978873966687
This is part of working with the EU AI Act, other labs are adding similar watermarking. It’s hard to identify AI-generated text, and this gives people better tools to do that. We’ll also be a shipping text detection API that you can use yourself.
I think this shows 2 key skills w/ AI 1) compute allocation - for most jobs there's not a list of "X most important problems", you have to decide what problems are worth it 2) thought partnership - @__alpoge__ had to really dig into and understand the proof to know it was real
sometimes all you need to do is tell Claude to keep going @jarredsumner
me: Claude was used to autonomously reverse-engineer and modernize a mission-critical 1996 system with zero source access them: incredible, what vertical? me: …consumer, handheld consumer
we should have called this post "defeating the lethal trifecta" https://claude.com/blog/auto-mode-default-in-claude-code
automode is much safer than any other permission system out there, especially reviewing them yourself excited to announce we're rolling it out to everyone by default, with no overhead cost for the classifier
I think a lot of people don't realize- if you connect a Claude Connector (e.g. your gmail, calendar, slack, etc), Claude Code will also be able to use them, including in Artifacts.
you can already see Jevons paradox at work in mathematics there is more happening, it is easier to understand and mathematicians have more time to discuss it with us at higher abstraction levels demand for people who think and know about math will go up
We removed ~80% of the Claude Code system prompt for our newest models, this is what we've learned about writing system prompts, skills and Claude.MDs for them. http://x.com/i/article/2080703729385512960
Opus 5 rounds out our Claude 5 family beautifully. I think it’s an incredible daily driver, pair it with Fable for planning, brainstorming or fixing the hardest bugs. QT: https://twitter.com/i/status/2080699495453528290
I'm sad it took me this long to actually type /design but working on frontend with Claude Design and Claude Code is actually so good
if you've run into this, please restart Claude Code, fix should be propogating
working more on a post about what we learned doing this and how you can apply this to your skills and system prompts QT: https://twitter.com/i/status/2078895219534438556
This was due to a heroic effort by many people at Anthropic working sometimes literally around the clock It was not at all clear that we'd be able to do this in time, and so proud of everyone who made it happen. Enjoy Fable.
building prototypes of mockups, schemas, data models, proof of concepts, etc. is the best way to avoid spending tons of tokens before realizing you don't want the output QT: https://twitter.com/i/status/2078154117441069227
