I've just heard the very sad news that original Glaxo Babies drummer Geoff Alsopp has died. Geoff had been a stalwart of the Bristol music scene years before punk. He'd played in country bands, pub bands of many hues and in 1974 a band with a nonemore 1974 name than Pokey Mule. RIP Geoff.
