Teaming up with Flash Gordon in a movie, making big budget Star Trek: The Next Generation fanfic, and now this. Seth McFarlane is basically living the life it would seem I would have wanted.

Happy 42nd anniversary to Buckaroo Banzai! This poster replica (gift from @paxholley.com) hangs in my work office.
My son is rightfully flipping out that his high school administration is using AI to generate janky ass graphics and flyers, but they also tell the students don’t use AI under any circumstance. One more year and we’re done with public schools.
Another advantage to libraries is your kids don’t eventually have to figure out what to do with those books one day. Other than maybe just return them to the library.
Amazing marketing 👏🏼 #BookSky
Yes, what would happen if the president went stark-raving mad? A question we all get the answer to everyday now. Oh, if only the idea of a lunatic in the White House was still fiction!
Hey y'all, if anyone here has @amerz23.bsky.social number, will you text her snd let her know we're thinking of her? 💜
Can anyone verify that @amerz23.bsky.social is doing ok?
Occasionally I have the opportunity to offer advice to someone younger than me (my kids, direct reports, etc.) and my major go-to is just to give them confidence with this: You got this. People stupider than you have done this before. You’ll do it even better.
I know someone who is the human(?) embodiment of AI overview. Always quick with an answer that is at best 60% correct.
Therapy appointment this morning and three episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation this afternoon. Not a bad way to reset after last week.
I’ve been neglecting this account recently with everything going on but look at all the new material I have for it.
Just acquired a bunch more books and some of these will end up in this feed.
Tequila shots out of my DC Bombshells Supergirl shot glass tonight.
Best find of the week. Had to keep these. I can’t believe we were wearing these 11 years ago.
Got home from this physically and emotionally exhausting trip. I had slipped two bottles of wine I was gifted into the dirty laundry bag. Forgot I had done that 17 hours ago. I tossed the bag onto the porch. Both bottles shattered. Absurdly appropriate ending to the week.
I found several of my sister’s original Strawberry Shortcake dolls, but they had been stored outside and were quite mildewed. So I threw them away. Thus, I have moderately increased the value of all the others out there. If you have any, you’re welcome.
I think I might be a couple of hours from wrapping up one of the most difficult weeks of my life.
A few months before my daughter was born, friends had a daughter and she was my “practice baby.” After my daughter was born, I got a picture with both of them. We moved a year later. Twelve years later, we visited and recreated the photo. Today, ten years later, we were able to recreate it again.
That Dr. Manhattan meme but it’s about Ghost Rider movies and Nic Cage still playing super heroes.
#LastFourWatched Decent week although I have very conflicted feelings about Guardians 2 despite the highish rating.
Happy #LetterboxdFriday! Time to post your #LastFourWatched 📲
“Hey! Why aren’t you watching that show that’s only on that streaming service we said you should boycott?!”

Disappointed at the lack of banana clip aesthetics, but there’s still a few hundred years to get to that.

Drop a crush from your youth! 🖤 (Not the best gif of her as Lois, but it still shows she’s a badass and it doesn’t include fucking Dean Cain.)
