Watched West Side Story again and, for the first time, I watched the "graffiti" credits. Liked them. Now trying find out if anyone commented on them at the time.

Here's a very short two-parter: On Monday evening, some film dialogue was going through my head. Solozzo pitching his idea to Vito where he talks about the politicians and cops that the Don has in his pocket. We go out and, a couple of hours later, we walk back through a largely deserted square.1/2

Late to this and everything else but the chord which is played after a notable mushroom-related death in the Peter Ustinov narrated 'Barbar the Elephant' is the scariest sound ever recorded.

Managed some more sleep thanks to the backwards-counting method. Was rewarded with a dream in which I flew a colander as if it were a kite. Inevitably, I lost it over a high wall. So that's another one gone.

Apparently, I asked two very boring questions in the space of two minutes while walking back with the shopping. “What time does the library close?” And “How deep is the lido?”
