Picking my suitcase off the ground to put up on the bed pings a bit of pain in my ribs. It was only the bag plus my empty carry on inside. How the hell am I gonna be able to travel to SFO this week when it’s full?

I’m getting laughed at this morning cause Mak is previewing a “Music of EPCOT” album and I’m naming the tune within the first mesure, and sometimes first note, almost every time. What can I say? I’m a Disney Parks Nerd.

For a moment there, I thought “well, since I need to go up north of Baltimore, I can take a nice sunny drive around the east side of the Beltway across the Key Bridg….oh right”. I guess I’ll be taking the tunnel.

I hate that I physically can’t do all the basics of life, like dishes and laundry, or exercise more then just long walks right now cause I’m recovering from a fall at work.

Ceiling fan started making a noise that may have been electrical or bearing so I took it apart. Noise is mechanical in the motor. Guess I need a new one. Made in April 1995 and if continuously ran since install ~274,000 hr in service. Good job Hunter Celing Fan. It was a life well served.

You know what. I’m not going to spend all that money for a birthday cake to take to a gathering tomorrow. I’m going to make it myself. Spends 40% more to buy ingredients to make said cake. F this current economy right in the A.

Heard a song in the car sung by a 22 year old recoded 43 years ago. Last week I talked to that 22 year old kid, now in his 70s, on the loading dock, exchanging supportive words after I heard a phone call, that he moved his father into end of life care. The smallest connections can be so fascinating

Bonus. In this manic Moment I did the dishes, swept the floor, put away a whole heap of things, mowed the lawn, emptied the trash, who knows what else till I crash.

Anyone want to come over and just drink with me into oblivion? Every time this summer depression lets up a tiny bit somthing happens and sends me right back. I’ve never been this…empty feeling for so long.

Sometimes all you wanted to do to to is sit and paint a rock. And then something silly and simple is taken away from you. Checklist: Have a cry, pick myself up, dust myself off, and keep going.

I think the worst thing us nerds and geeks ever did was try to convince the normies that the internet was not just for porn.

My nights and weekends work life makes it quite hard to join the local chapters. And they are all earn your place by being here every week type groups. Where’s the casual “let’s drink and sing together” chapters? Do any furs I know get together and sing? Does zoom singing work? 2/2

After every con or vacation I usually have something that I’m inspired to work on. Every time I go to Disney I want to find people to sing barbershop music with, like the Dapper Dans of Main Street. 1/x

The new Country Bear Jamboree is a fun show. It has just the right amount of callbacks for us old fans and new songs to interest the newer guests. I’ll miss Blood on the Saddle but Remember Me is good song for Big Al’s unique musical stylings.

Building my LEGO Space Shuttle set 10283 and the first step it to build Hubble. This is 8” long and fits inside the shuttle bay. This whole set is gonna be huge.

I’m torn about working at the Kennedy Center too. The name is being covered up all over the building and is taken off the website but he remains the chair and his yes men are on the board. Are the musicians, actors, stagehands, and support staff really supporting the fascist regime?

I keep looking at the UFC photos and seeing all of the work that is being done by my Union brothers and seriously debating if I should be down there making my multiple thousands of dollars. But I can barely bring myself to look at the White House right now let alone work there.
