At the Eawag Infotag, @kariningold.bsky.social moderated the Politics and Practice Podium which focused on the role of science in energy security and environmental concerns. The podium provided important insights for water management with Nicolò Paganini, Andreas Stettler and Christian Stamm.
This week, @kariningold.bsky.social introduced the @nccr-climplus.bsky.social and the new Uni Bern Management Center at the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research (OCCR) plenary session. After her time as president of the OCCR, new challenges await as an NCCR co-director.

How is evidence used in pesticide regulation policymaking? 🌱 In a new blog post and a corresponding article, this question is addressed by comparing the use of problem-oriented evidence and solution-oriented evidence during parliamentary discussions in Switzerland on pesticide regulation.
How does one effectively manage plastic pollution? ♻️ Two PEGO members, Marlene Kammerer and Anastasiia Nikolova, are trying to find out. Their field work has taken them from Nepal to Malaysia where they are now currently on the island of Borneo in the Malaysian town of Semporna.
