The ATmosphere is not Bluesky. Except when it is? I keep convincing myself the ATmosphere is separate from Bluesky, then un-convincing myself. So, to decide (mostly for future me), I went through every layer: handle, DID, PDS, relay, appviews, lexicons.

There and back again, the long way round to publishing a blog post As if I hadn't already written enough about my atproto rabbit hole, this time it's how markdown in my Obsidian vault becomes records in my PDS becomes HTML on a website.

I got this keyboard for my iPad, because I want to use my iPad more (laptops are distractinggg) I love it, it’s noisy in a good way and you see that lever on the side, it is a WORKING CARRIAGE RETURN 😍 It’s super satisfying. And unnecessary. But I like it.

A pink faux typewriter mechanical keyboard with a slot for my iPad and a carriage return lever!!

Actually really liking Astro components so far...I instinctively thought there'd be a way to attach a function to `@click` or `onClick` to add a click handler, but that's not how you do it. It's all plain js which is oddly refreshing.

I decided, on a whim, to clear out a looot of newsletter subscriptions for my email. It's kind've weird how some of them will attempt to guilt trip you??

Claude and the alphabet, constant source of amusement. Silly Claude. > I'll add the minus icon right after "moon" (alphabetical order: mi... comes after mo... — actually "minus" before "moon").

True Claude Code lazy prompt - "I'm going to start a new session, suggest a prompt that will get you to pick up where we left off without you making the same mistakes as in this session plz, ty" (Yes it is nice to say please & thank you)

So for the past couple of weeks I’ve been trying to make a dress, for Christmas Day. Second ever dress I’ve made. I have also made a top and skirt separately - I don’t wear any of these items b/c they’re bloody awful)

I don’t use bookmarks anymore, I keep track of what page I’m on using StoryGraph and now it’s in maintenance for 2 days and idk what to do. I’m on page 376 btw.

I brought life to a seed(s)! 😍 🌱 Clearly I was too pessimistic with how many seeds I put in some pots 😂 hopefully I can successfully separate them when they’re a bit bigger 🤦‍♀️ No idea where they’re actually going in the garden yet.

Rudbeckia seeds sprouting, one of the cells has 4 seedlings

IDK how we got through so much flat pack furniture before we had an electric screwdriver. Significantly improved QOL. Now we just need two…

Last full day of packing and I’ve declared basically so many items I own as “coming in the (v. small) car” 😂😭 obviously this isn’t going to work but everything is so precious 🥲 How do you just entrust your life to people you’ve never met 🤷‍♀️

When you’re partway through packing up your house and wonder…is it too late to change your mind? 😭

I've got my whole "new laptop" setup down to about 30 mins and I'm so pleased! No more remembering what I need to install or awkwardly transferring config between laptops 🤩

_If you go all in on trunk-based development_, committing small, straight to main etc, how do you stop yourself watching CI after every commit to make sure you didn't break anything? There's only so much you can do in a pre-commit hook right 🤔 🤔
