I've spent decades pretending to be animals and characters that, whether intentional or not, allowed me to explore different interests and parts of my personality, and now I'm at the point where combining all of that back together results in a new and much more triangular shape
Ringer@mmmatch.es · 2w agoI've been going through a sort of species dysphoria for awhile now, and I guess the best way to describe it is that I enjoy the characters I have and the shapes that they are, but if you took everything about them and combined it alllll into one cohesive form that is *me*, you'd end up with a coyote

I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.

This week I finished season 3 of Silo and season 4 of Reacher and they were both decent, which is a downgrade of my opinions of previous seasons. The problem is that I made the tactical error of reading through most/all of both series' and went into the new seasons with tangible reference points.

Ringer@mmmatch.es · 2y agoI think this is also partially why I've always been fascinated by people dressed as animals (or enduring other embarrassing plights, really) in TV or movies – yeah, they look silly but this is their JOB. The script said it, wardrobe and makeup put them in it, and here they are. It's... enviable.
