I hear the frustrations and know them well, which is why I cannot explain enough that @moderation.blacksky.app should be subscribed to if you do not want to be a part of Blacksky (as in migration). The tools are there; I hope y'all check them out.

It’s so frustrating to see everyone how Black people, especially Black women, are treated on this app. I’m glad @tressiemcphd.bsky.social calls it out on the regular. I stay blocking these bamas but it’s seemingly endless. Racist gophers!

My why will always be young people especially young Black girls and gender expansive youth. Cannot believe our biggest fellowship cohort has their last session next month. 🥹 They are going to do so well presenting at the Justice for Black Girls conference in November. Ima cry 😭

On another note, I just wanted to thank you for the space you create in this fellowship. Even though it's been a rough couple of months, and I haven't been as present as I would have liked, it's always so affirming for me to be a part of our calls. Hoodrat Scholarship has been such a meaningful framework for me as I've tried to figure out how I could create space for myself within the academy without sacrificing my commitments to my people. Thank you for all that you do! Have a beautiful day!
