Seeing people in the comments say things like “it’s an 18+ event what did you expect” Most conventions in Florida have had to go 18+ due to Floridas drag laws. Cosplaying can be seen as a type of drag. I don’t believe 18+ cons are inherently sexual, still doesn’t justify being a creep in public.

Thats always the story. All of these companies are capable of shutting thia shit down yesterday if they wanted to. But if they did it would be seen as a retreat on AI and negatively effect the stock price. AI must be pushed at all costs, even if it is basically a child snuff porn generator.

The thing I kept thinking while I was working on this story was that Meta absolutely has the resources to keep this AI child abuse material off its platforms -- it's invested billions of dollars in securing top AI talent who could be assigned full-court-press to solving this awful problem:
