Dang… What a day… Drove almost 600 miles… If only that huge slow long BNSF grain train did have me stopped for more than 10 minutes in Dodge City, I would’ve made it for my delivery on time… Drat… Gonna have to deliver first thing in the morning instead now…

What an experience and exciting morning! I got to have a driver appreciation breakfast with the CEOs of Crete before heading on my run to TX!!! 🙂 Thank you Tim and Eric for making such an amazing company to work at! 🙂

For a Midwest state that has nothing but cornfields everywhere, I really like Iowas freeways. When they do a project they really do a good job on it! I hope they widen I-80 from one end of the state to the other soon!

It was a rough day at work today, but I won’t bore you with those details. At least it’s all done now and the sun is setting for the day…

Is anyone else tired of the “offended at everything” and the “boycott this and that” attitude these days? I’m exhausted and just can’t keep up anymore… Seems like the list just gets bigger and bigger… Makes me wanna live off grid in a forest in upstate NY and get away from it all…

Thinking of doing a Toronto Fall Colors trip this year… Would any furries from the area wanna meet up with me maybe or even host me so I can save $$$ and not get a hotel? :)

Just the way I like it and the way Crete and my bosses like it. How does a day early delivery sound for my first run back at work? Tomorrow’s an exciting day! From 65 cents a mile to 68 cents a mile with a big fat run from MI to KY coming up! 🙂

After breakfast I had to take care of a last minute errand and stumbled upon the I-787 outreach center. As a road nerd I had to go in and I am so glad I did! I even got one of the free huge report books with pictures and maps in it! :)

Last morning in Albany and NY state for a while. Before going back to work, I had to hit up my favorite diner in Albany: Pearl St. 🙂

I’ve never been happier to see my truck in my life! Thank god! She’s not underwater! The Hudson is just beyond the back of my trailer!!! Whew!!! 😮 That officially brings the rush to RUSH work and home time to a close! 🙂 Back to work tomorrow morning! 🙂

Welp. I never thought I would use it, but I just arrived safe n sound back in Albany at the worlds crummiest bus terminal ever! 😂 We did get in 10 min early too… Not bad Greyhound… Not bad! Thanks for the ride! :)

A little bit cramped, but I am happy on my Greyhound bus. See ya soon Albany! 🙂

“Cus I’m takin a Greyhound… On the Hudson River Line… I’m in a NY state of mind!” My train got cancelled due to the storms up north. Albany got absolutely clobbered. I had to make a last minute travel adjustment that cost me an arm and a leg, but I’ll be back on time for work tomorrow! 🙂

My hours in NYC are winding down… Gonna close things out with a classic: Pizza. NY style. One on the left is your typical NY slice. One on the right is just to piss people off that say fruit doesn’t belong on pizza. XD 😆

Late nights in Brooklyn… NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN!!! I love my slightly drunk subway rides back to my hotel. At least someone else is doing the driving and not me! Safety first! 🙂
