I just found out used PSVR2s are, like, $200. And you can now plug them into your PC. So you can now get one of the single best eye-tracking VR headsets for one of the cheapest prices possible... Guys, I think I know what my next VR headset is going to be!

Mail call! I have added The Nightmare Before Christmas to my Disney100 Steelbook collection--the most expensive movie I was missing. I now own 10 films, only 7 to go--and less than 20 overall to complete my Disney100 set!

So far in 2026 I have watched 60 unique films (about 2 a week), of which 19 have been films I never saw before (or about ⅓). I hope to keep those ratios up. By the end of 2026, I hope to have seen 100 films, and my goal is for at least 35 of them to be first-time watches.
I have visited every single US State except for two: Hawaii and Delaware. As of today, we have officially begun planning our vacation to Hawaii. That just leaves Delaware--a State that is VERY hard to visit. (No major airport, really out of the way, etc.) So... should I visit Delaware 1st or 2nd?

It's been a few months since I bought my Nissan Leaf, and I decided to see how many miles I put on it in the month of July. That's 462 miles we DIDN'T drive in a gas car. This is easily a full tank, maybe a tank and a half, of gas that we didn't have to buy. $50+ saved.
The best time to start a good habit was 20 years ago. The second-best time is today.
Rewatching these Pokemon movies is filling me with a ton of nostalgia. Beyond the obvious "I grew up with these", I think it also has to do with the movies being made at a time when the point of Pokemon was just to have fun--not to be an investment. I miss those days, terribly.

In October 2018, I completed my Pokedex in Pokemon Silver. In January 2020, the battery dried up before I could back up the save file. Today, I finally completed the Pokedex again. This time, it's saved forever. Pokemon Silver Version is my favorite video game of all time. I will cherish this.
