Vice did a feature on furries which it attracted furry haters. Their comments were frothing rage. Meta just breeds hate for people misunderstood by society and posting in Meta accts just accepts this is how it is. It's not difficult to push back. Post less in Meta accts and post more on Bluesky.

I was harassed and stalked by Pepper Coyote at Anthrocon. Sunday night, I was by the waterfront hanging with some friends. Pepper then came to our group and started verbally harassing me. (Audio is more important, did not want to point my phone directly at him, but he does pop up eventually)

Well, guess there's no more need for speculation: he's confirmed he's in Russia, *AND* he's thanking the fandom for it. While I don't think his fandom royalties account for *all* the funding that sent him to Russia, all y'all that *have* given him money should reconsider having done so.

If true (see the thread for what proof we have), Pepper Coyote never actually changed his tune about the Ukraine conflict, he just got better at hiding what that tune was. Genuinely, why else would a gay man go to Russia in defiance of heavy travel sanctions?

Thoughts, because I have Some Thoughts for the people who were mollified by his "I want peace in the region" double-speak and I am genuinely too befuddled to type them out.

It's easy to think "ah, a restaurant/store by the diaspora", but look at the times posted. Lunch picture at 4 a.m East Coast time? Picture of Russian cheetos at 2 p.m when it seems to be nighttime?

Is anyone else asking themselves why Pepper Coyote is in Russia at this very moment?
