My end-of-life patient told me she wanted her favorite Domino's pizza--feta & spinach with Alfredo. So of course, I ordered it to the #ICU. And yes, when she insisted that I sit down & eat a slice with her, I did. Her nurse told me she has never seen anything like this 😊@3wishesprogram.bsky.social
Was talking to a young person who told me she met her boyfriend on Tinder. I told her back in the day, I tried Match.com. She asked, "What's match.com?" Damn. I am from the dark ages apparently.
Started ICU yesterday and all my interns, residents, and fellow are men. I guess you can say that I'm the lady boss.

The awful Cornell assault story reminds me of the movie "Promising Young Woman". A drunk young woman was raped by a classmate, as his college buddies watched and recorded the assault. It was a really dark movie & reminds me that the ugliness in fiction often stems from reality.
Woke up congested this morning, so I'm thinking I'm also a little sick, and it's not all #Pickle! For the first time ever, I am glad that I am actually sick (just need to it to get better fast because I'm back in the ICU this week).

Many physicians have had to watch a Jehovah's Witness patient die because of their refusal of blood transfusions. This is huge. Thank goodness.
