Mike (I'm anonymising) is clearly buff - has a very caring attitude to his patients & enjoys running and cycling. The effect of NHS underfunding is awful, but never dull 🤦♀️
1000% this. No one could possibly know how traumatic and exhausting the system is.
Samantha Wathen@samanthajwathen.bsky.social · 4mo agoUnless you are a frontline member of NHS staff - or love someone that is - you genuinely cannot appreciate the enormous and relentless toll the current system takes on them day after day after day. They did not sign up for this, and they do not deserve it.

From 1st April (the public are the fools in this), GPs will be contractually obliged to seek remote “advice & guidance” from hospital clinicians, making it even harder to see an NHS specialist.

Send Motorway staff with no high Vis jacket? Then don't send ambulance workers without wellbeing support. NHS has a duty of care, make sure they honour it. Petiton: c.org/PGBww7YNsb
