Best gift of 2024 came in February, my boy William. It has been a wonderful Christmas day already. Neighbor is burning a fire & the smokiness is heavenly. Received an amazing gift from a friend that will last the remaining Christmas days of my life.

When I got up this morning, William was snoozing on the sofa. Now he is snoozing on the bed while I am working. He has had a brush (how he loves it) & is a happy boy. I think he knows he is loved. He has also observed the local crows. I have put out seeds for them when they gather before dusk. TV!

Day 2 feeling punk. Chicken stock on the stove for some soup later. William will get some of the boiled chicken, too.

now that I'm out in the living room and I moved the bed onto the floor William checked it out and jumped right in.
William is curious about the new heated bed. Not enough to get in it, yet.

Ticked the box for finally getting around to watching #LAConfidential last weekend. Not sure why it took me so long. Very good performances from the cast, great old LA feel & locations.
Since I cannot (will not) be putting up a tree this year (too tempting) for William. Certainly not risking my glass ornaments! Sharing pics of trees past.
Final splurge for 2024 is a long overdue upgrade to my old iPad Air a new one with lots of storage space and pretty color.
William got some canned tuna for a dinner time treat. It has been a while since he has had tuna. He loved it! Gobbled it right up. 🐟
