🌍✊ 600 civil society organizations from around the world have signed the “Manifesto for a Future Free from Plastic Pollution,” an urgent call for government leaders to champion people’s rights to a healthy environment as they gather in Geneva, Switzerland for INC 5.2.

Plastic comes at a cost. But who should pay?      Currently the Global South bears the burden, despite contributing little.     🌍 At #INC5, the #PlasticsTreaty must drive equitable financing to protect communities impacted by #plasticpollution & build a just transition to a circular economy.
