Again saw a dingus use the "ai is actually stealing artists work without their permission" which has always been the weakest most empty headed argument... The whole "ai" thing (from the marketing to the images to the chat bots) is a direct attack on the soul, ownership is the least of our concerns.
Now that this is out in the open, I can say that a certain book I did for a certain publisher affiliated with one of these people had generative expand used on my cover art without my permission, and it wasn’t removed before publication
