If you are growing cherry tomatoes in your garden, you must make this! I used a bunch of different cherry tomatoes cut in half and 9 oz. of feta because that was the size of the piece I had. Fresh basil and lots of pressed garlic. OMG! Definitely a 10! feelgoodfoodie.net/recipe/baked...

Before and after — cherry tomatoes in the dehydrator. The 15.5” tray of tomatoes now fits in half of a sandwich bag. I keep my temperature low to preserve color. They taste wonderful and fruity! Currently have green onion tops in the dehydrator and pulled out dried sage and chives yesterday.

I think the Black-billed Magpies have gotten sick of hearing me gush over how gorgeous the Common Grackles are. This Junior Magpie flew in and posed on this branch as if to say “check this iridescence out”🤣 #Birds 🪶

Migration is definitely on! Blackburnian Warbler in the yard last night — first time for that! Hummingbird feeding on the honeysuckle this morning. Tempted to spend most of the day in the yard to see what else appears!

It’s a cool, damp morning. I’m going to head to Duck Lake, Saskatchewan to drop off two quilts for longarming. The one I just finished is fun — vintage school days. I found a batik that had all the colours in the prints and used it for the cornerstones and outer border. 😊

I wish you could all be here to see the abundance in the garden this year! It’s a cool overcast morning and the insects are just starting to get rolling. Need to work indoors today but will be back out this evening to visit with the bees.
