This was the video I was looking for yesterday to post. I follow Joshua Wright on instagram because we are both passionate about saving old trees. This was an ancient forest valley that was recently logged on Vancouver Island. They cut down one of the largest Yellow Cedar tree in Canada. 😢

It's now extremely hard for Irish people to conceive what a wild tree even looks like, with mostly only domesticated, tamed versions remaining. This rainforest holly gives an idea. Rewilding is how we allow not only wild trees back, but the entire ecosystems of which they're meant to be a part.

This week I was fortunate enough to visit the British Library to consult some of James Joyce's letters, and those from his family, to Harriet Shaw Weaver. I hope to be back soon!
