I can see it being tied to what influences and experiences formed you and were accessible by proximity, a lot of us gather our most prominent style inspirations in pretty early age, so it's easy to say that it's in the cultural code. I'd say that some people enjoy putting people into boxes too much

fascinating discourse going on today though, I hate to say it, they have a point. maybe not race, but ethnicity, maybe. I feel like some artists from some countries or cultures have a definite vibe that I can pick out sometimes, like, russian artists or italian artists, that sort of thing

Going through the wide gambit of indie animation with a bud and running through the spectrum that's being produced. There's a respect that needs to be have for artists just finishing a project even if I'm not the key demographic. Mad props man for doing something you love and putting it out there.
