My understanding is that the US doesn't need diesel. It's other countries' needs that are driving up global prices. US refiners make billions of excess profits charging US customers global prices. In fact we are a major exporter of diesel. So WTF? And what did he give Putin in return?

Sure, why should he care? At 80 yrs old, he figures he's on his way out the door in the near future, so he'd be thrilled to take out the rest of the world, too; likewise, for the religious zealots who pray for the world to end. Too bad the so-called, 'better' people weren't smart enough to stop it.

The next day I hear about what happened later, the wild experiences, strengthened bonds or odd opportunities all of which I would have loved to have been part of! But I left, bc for me, leaving was the smart choice, the safe one. But saying why I left makes the men roll their eyes; nothing happened!
