And even if Musk or Trump, or one one of these peach fuzzed little shits don't sell this information or plug it into something as porous as literally any database that Musk maintains, this information has been compromised in such a way that it is now effectively unsecured to anyone really wants it.

But unlike former times, in this digitized era, there is no "getting back" our data or securing the treasury. That was the ballgame and we lost, everything that comes for the next few months will be massive distractions as these mendacious dipshits figure out what to do with the information.

That it was done so by a tiny handful of young men barely, if actually, past adolescence says as many depressing things about how much we have learned about Trump's willingness to upend norms as it signals another parallel to Nazi Germany's use of impressionable youth seeking belonging.

When they keep hitting us with new ground-shaking moments every single day, it becomes too easy to back-burner the fact that the private financial and personal information collected by the government was just breached and stolen by a private businessperson from a foreign country.

This is where I come down: Trump and Musk's compromising of the mechanisms of the United States are barely the beginning in the enfuckification of the USA. We're a little myopic on the trade war right now and USAID, which are both of enormous importance. But that's the point.
