Amphibious carrier USS Boxer near the entrance to the Gulf of Oman in today's images. It's probable we'll also be afforded a view of one or both of the fleet carriers tomorrow once the embargoed sections of this imaging stripe are made available.

JS Izumo has moved back into the drydock in Yokohama in today's images, beginning the final stages of its conversion into a light fleet carrier. The fighter landing positions with their specialized thermal coating are visible as a distinct patch on the aft corner of the flight deck.

Japanese helicopter carrier Ise at the pier in Sasebo following disaster recovery operations. US Navy amphibious carrier Tripoli is visible at the pier nearby. The Hyuga class ships frequently have very clear deck markings, especially so in the IR channels.

Looks like the Fujian is out to sea from today's radar pass. The past couple imaging passes have been cloudy so hard to say when it departed.

USS Theodore Roosevelt south of Oahu in yesterday's radar imaging. Wouldn't have felt too confident in the ID without AIS cross-referencing from an hour or so earlier putting it in the stripe. Think the big reflective bit is actually one of the elevators and not the island.

Amphibious carrier USS Tripoli south of Okinawa main island in today's images. I'd had a hunch to look around here from Japanese planespotters posting about the ship's fighter contingent making a stop at the base and then I got another ADS-B tipoff right as the pictures were coming in
