So the current ad situation in Ohio is beyond crazy, as there's an ad circulating where Amy Acton's mom calls her a liar and tells people not to vote for her. But Amy Acton's mom's second husband sexually abused Acton and she lost custody of Amy as a result. It's a horrific story.

Thank you to those who fought for Canada. This is a blowout. But it does not sit well with me that the Alberta separatist campaign could not have been more cartoonishly stupid, more politically inept, more obviously mendacious and weird, and may still get almost a quarter of the province to say yes.

I’m having a hard time understanding all the celebration around the Alberta vote. Sure, they rejected separation, but that was never the point of the referendum. The government was seeking permission to institute racist policies… and they got it!
