Boss fights in Belmont’s Curse are the big highlight for me, but the Celeste-like traversal and Arcanas (specifically leveling them up) are not my favorite thing. I have yet to really use some of them because they all barely do any damage and cost far too much mana. I might as well not have them.

I also keep thinking about how I approached Ad Deus et Mors, and while I absolutely love what I wrote and had Castlevania in the brain while writing it, I gotta say… …the song doesn’t quite fit the unique vibe Belmont’s Curse gives off. 😅

I feel as though in the last five years, I’ve experienced the “enjoy your favorite franchise while it’s at its peak because it won’t last” feeling about four times, now. It’s getting pretty fucking difficult to support some franchises I follow, anymore.

Leaning into the debate nobody cares about for my two cents (and venting) about the risqué Sonic event: Why are adults complaining about an 18+ event showcasing adult things and language at midnight (when most kids are asleep) worried about the kids seeing this stuff?

Do you think they’re gonna pull a crazy move and try to retcon the “Rey’s a Palpatine” reveal? It’s still a stupid reveal, but I’d almost argue them trying to pull a “gotcha” and reversing that would be… comically disastrous.

I know it kind of defeats the purpose of statistic differences, but I kind of wish I could swap board stats with other builds in CrossWorlds. It’d be nice to use an extreme gear that’s a bit more competitively viable.
