Had such a fun time with the fam at the Cal game yesterday. Wild fourth quarter. My first time in the adult section after so many games (ages ago) in the student section. L'dor v'dor. #GoBears
My mom has been staying with us for a couple weeks while she recovers from back surgery. Watching her put butter on homemade bagels is 😱 …. Thought I raised her better than this.
Great time last night at Snarky Puppy with the 14yo. Couple rarities: “Native Sons” bustout that, after ~18 years off (per Michael), was old enough that JT had never heard it before. “Slow Demons.” Got the setlist from Bobby who tried, and failed, to deliver it as a paper airplane.
Remember: Phish may have invented music, but Biscuits invented palindrome setlists.
While still very much a work in progress, it feels like a great day to inject some 🫧 into the #B4L world. The killer SEA25 Sven got me thinking about early songs that have gotten solid "renaissance-era" treatment. Here's my current list. All constructive feedback/recs welcome. 2nu.gs/3JosbIz
Now playing. Best renaissance-era Sven? Has to be.
I've been using Claude almost exclusively for a eighteen months — with highly developed profiles, style guides, engagement rules, agents. And I've scoffed at people fluffing CGPT, with its crap interface, fragile threads, etc. And then, all of a sudden, CGPT / CPGPT Work got, like, really good.

Now playing. A little Gershwin, a little Davis. Just missing some of the Trane explorations from later BMos.
Now playing. One of the finest covers I’ve ever heard — in any genre of any genre. (𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘺𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘥 𝘔𝘦𝘩𝘭𝘥𝘢𝘶, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘌𝘹𝘪𝘵 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤.)

I’ve always been obsessed with jazz album art, especially of the mid-century variety. A 🧵 collecting of some of my faves.
Democratic strategists: Ahhh! What's the right message!!?? Where do we moderate!?!? Jon Ossoff: This administration is horrible. I hate these people. We should put them in jail. I'm pissed Voters: This guy is cool Strategists: I can't figure it out!!!!!
A world where TIFTOO doesn’t have a drums section.
