Challenges! Progress! Opportunities! How can we accelerate the fight against global malnutrition? One year after Nutrition for Growth, & ahead of the Global Partnerships Conference, these were the themes at @APPGNutrition & ICAN (UK) reception.

Malnutrition is the biggest killer of children under five. But, today, we are celebrating the nutrition champions working to change that. Huge thanks to all who came to the APPG Nutrition & ICAN UK reception. Investing in nutrition gives every child the chance to thrive.🌍✨

For every $1 invested in nutrition, $23 is returned through better health & productivity. The Child Nutrition Fund can multiply UK ODA sixfold, thanks to additional philanthropic & private sector contributions. Our Expert Adviser Finian Ali sees it working in Nigeria.

A very important question, which we thank Lord Bates for raising. What is the humanitarian cost of the UK’s cut to ODA? Is it being evaluated? If cuts prevent access to food for civilian populations, how can that be compatible with our obligations under international law? #SDG2
