Figured I'd try out a new way to talk about an event- UNSORTED PROS and CONS for the Cleveland Gaming Classic 2026 thread! #CGC26 To preface, we went on Friday and Saturday- entering 3 events across them all (Minesweeper, Ultimate Singles/Doubles). I'll be covering the event overall as well.

GTA IV- Don't 'hate' it exactly, but I found it slow/stiff and rather tiring overall as a result.

No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.

Finally had the time to get to another event (Midgard #17). Doubles - same disappointment. Singles - Piranha Plant and Isabelle. Finally took a game against Isabelle which is nice I guess. Redemption - DLC gauntlet. Sephiroth (close win), Min Min (close loss), Terry (yeah).

This is my first podium placement in a Biweekly since 2024 👀 I won 5 sets (one was a rematch against Piper, who I lost to in Winners).

Saw TADC Last Act in theaters last night (no spoilers from me)- it was a mix of bittersweet and uplifting. We rewatched everything in the days before, so I can say for certain that this was a satisfying conclusion overall. Also for the record, our theater was super chill.

Haven't been fully paying attention to the date, but somehow the Switch 2 is essentially a year old already so here's my thoughts on some games I guess.

Not a full review, but I definitely liked the Galaxy movie. Unfortunately, I think it suffered from the Red Hulk problem in a few spots- advertising 'big' reveals just lessens the impact of the film. Surprises are allowed to exist (and thankfully there were still a few).

Won a set, lost to the same person twice, didn't do too good in doubles- typical Midgard Mayhem for me 😑 Hope to do somewhat better at Helheim, but we'll see soon enough I guess.

When Min Min was first added to Smash Ultimate, Spring Stadium (her stage) incorrectly displayed Spring Man alongside Springtron's logo. This was eventually fixed, but it's still crazy it even happened- I'm guessing it's because they're almost the same shape.
