On Saturday, I asked Veronica Burton if she doubted she'd get another shot in the WNBA after being waived by the Dallas Wings in 2024. Today, she was named the WNBA's Most Improved Player.

Here is Natalie Nakase after the Valkyries Game 1 loss to the Lynx. She was frustrated with the officiating, noted she wants to do a better job at handling mental part of game, and she's excited to get back to Ballhalla.
