I’m supposed to keep these little blurbs about Montréal 2027 Worldcon short. Here’s short: give me one word that expresses why you are involved in science fiction or fantasy.
Some things get better with time. Sometimes the sequel does surpass the original. What are you looking for in a convention that would make Montréal 2027 Worldcon the best Worldcon ever? (Bonus points if you know, without looking it up, when the first Worldcon was.)
One cannot live on Sci-fi alone. So, my good deed for the day: Mom’s Biscuits 2 C flour, 1 tbs baking powder, 1 tsp salt. Mix and add ¾ C milk and ¼ vege oil. Stir till combined. Roll out and cut. Bake at 425F for 12 minutes or till golden. Now you know.

During this historic mission, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen became the first Canadian to be part of a lunar mission. The crew went over 400,000 km from Earth, farther than any humans before them. It was the first mission to the Moon since the Apollo program more than 50 years ago.

In my mind the debate of book vs. movie always comes down on the side of book. With the notable exception of “The Princess Bride” proving the rule. At Montréal 2027 Worldcon you can find people who share your exceptions, and probably even more people to argue with about theirs.
