Catholic Shi'a Dialogues. Beyond the Shadow of War: Humanizing the Other through Interreligious Dialogue

This report documents a series of Catholic-Shi’a dialogues held in the spring of 2026, bringing together faculty from the University of Notre Dame and international collaborators. Throughout these exchanges, scholars and practitioners reflect on diverse themes, including political sovereignty, gender, and the concept of a "dialogue among civilizations." These conversations offer new frameworks for constructively engaging religious difference, particularly in times of global fragility. Mr. Reza Pahlavi tells Reuters he hopes to have larger #benefactors when asked if he has received #Saudi or #Israeli gov. funds. His statement leaves the door open to private Saudi or Israeli citizens to fund his campaign. In Saudi Arabia this is a risk no one will take w/o informing government.

In a book, Dr. Hooshang Amirahmadi offered information on a $800 million project supported by #SaudiArabia & others to return Mr. Reza Pahlavi to lead Iran after 1979. He declined due to young age & safety concerns. I cannot verify the information or take Dr. Amirahmadi's word for it.
