My theory about RFK Jr. is that he was a once-handsome womanizer who feels his body betrayed him and now, because there is no "fix" for his voice, he distrusts medicine and science.
This is a very dangerous lunatic. RFK Jr: “The polio vaccine "killed many, many more people" than polio ever did.”
I love Kingdom Hearts but if they can't get Marvel or Star Wars right how the hell are they gonna land that plane
Completely shaken by Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Tokyo Sonata. The best movie I've seen all year.
I maintain that once people realize (around episode 3) that they are spending an hour every week watching ten year-old children going "bloody hell, look at that magic!" the audience will rapidly start dropping off.
the harry potter show is likely to be a massive global hit and lead to a cultural revival of the work and its profitability. one should prepare for this
I have a theory that ever since Donald Trump guest starred on Spin City, he has thought Barry Bostwick was actually the mayor of New York at that time, and he hired Scott Bessent because he believes he is Barry Bostwick.

A lot of great answers in this thread and I just wanna throw out someone I haven't seen yet who is very deserving: Stephen Chow
Who, in your mind, is the best director of action sequences? (Not just action movies.)
Rewatched a movie that I think is basically perfect. boxd.it/fGm4Jh
A review of Spider-Man 2 (2004)
I have long held that this is a perfect movie and the thing about it is that it is not just about Peter Parker not getting what he wants or being sad. This is a movie about everyone having what they t...

Feels like this would be part of some kind of opening montage
NEW: Data breach reported by Brooklyn-based IEH Corp. The company makes plugs and sockets for critical US missile and air defense systems (Patriot Missile Program).
In general, De Niro is a stronger comedic actor than Pacino, but he's never been funnier than Pacino reacting to the Dunaccino commercial in Jack & Jill.
a movie set in a world where it's illegal to watch a superhero movie if you are older than the actor playing the superhero
why does elon, himself, not go to the moon. he is obsessed with it and owns a rocket company and he won't go to the moon. he is the only person on earth who could decide tomorrow to go to the moon and he never ever goes to the moon.
Granted I'm not smart enough to be a SpaceX investor but if I was, I think I would have questions about why you need humanoid robots working in factories on the moon, presumably making things that would need to get shipped back to earth
how dare you do that to my bulma? vegeta's metamorphosis of fury
i've seen enough from the early reporting: haley stevens is confirmed to be a day player in an episode of Batman '66
See, I disagree. For all the hate TASM gets, I understand that Peter's moral code more and better, it's just that he slips up in the way a teenager might. The Captain Stacy stuff is the reminder of his moral fixture. Holland's Spider-Man just straight-up does not have one at all.
I agree. But, like, you can still communicate that instead of showing the audience Peter getting bit by the spider *again*, Uncle Ben getting shot *again* and Peter learning WGPGR *again* –– otherwise you just wind up getting a No Frills version of Raimi's first one. Picture unrelated.
I have always disagreed with the Batman/Spider-Man origin comparison. Batman's is incedental, something that happens to him. Spider-Man's is a *choice* that gets Uncle Ben killed and creates his moral code. I don't know what this Spider-Man's deal is beyond "be nice to everybody."
I don't think the problem is necessarily skipping the origin –– for example, The Batman (2022) skipped the origin and still managed to tell an engaging story with the character.

"She was inside my house for several minutes when she left." I think a really smart and convincing way to tell people you're completely innocent is to write your closing argument to the jury when you were completely blackout drunk.
Rep. Max Miller: "My former wife has claimed that during a custody exchange at my home that day, I assaulted her…If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to cook me dinner six days later?"
i keep thinking about spider-man using mass surveillance on civilians and punisher being like "you're my best friend, spider-man" in the same movie
in this universe, spider-man invented Flock :)
