They mean that disability is now less a mark of shame and more of an identity signifier: a way to connect to those with similar experiences. The UK is very invested in the idea of 'benefits scroungers'. It's been a predictable way to get people riled for decades. The Telegraph wants to go back.

This is shameful discriminatory and misogynistic reporting. People aren’t choosing disability to be “cool”. Young women don’t have to “prove” to you that they’re sick. Disability rates are skyrocketing because we’ve left a disabling virus rip through the population for over 6 years.

Got a surprise batch of Thedas Cookery About the Bits cards back from my beta. She wasn’t supposed to be available till November so truly a delightful surprise. I appreciate how despite not knowing anything about Dragon Age, she indulges in my nonsense. She’s been my beta since high school haha.

Without saying your age, what is your favorite movie that came out when you were 20 years old? I had a couple but I remember exactly how this movie made me feel in theaters. The way I went and looked at the concept art and listened to any thing I could. Was my second year in college for animation
