Appreciation post/followup for all the folks at Dragonsteel & Brandon Sanderson. Got my replacement Eye of The World leatherbound today. It’s perfect as far as I can tell. I deeply appreciate how amazingly they handled replacing any/all imperfect books from the first binding @dragonsteelbooks.com

A red leatherbound book with intricately debossed patterns and some gold foil trim sits on a wooden desk. In the middle of the cover is a gilded, slightly raised pattern of the Wheel of time logo. Which is a 7-spoked wheel with an a infinity/figure-8 shaped snake eating its own tail intertwined with the upper spokes of the wheel. The ancient symbol of the Aes Sedai is in the center of the wheel which is a circle with a wavy line bisecting it.

Leather-bound Eye of The World arrived today. Squee!Looks beautiful but has damaged gilding. The perfectionist in me high-key hates it... But the pragmatist in me is not sure if it’s enough to waste Dragonsteel’s time with... What would you do? #WoTSkies #TheWheelOfTime #TheEyeOfTheWorld
