While Trump threatens to invade Canada and his MAGA movement bullies and harasses Canadians and other US allies, Canadians are busy saving USians from burning alive. Canadian air crews in Los Angeles risked their lives to save US civilians. #palisadesfire
Happy New Year! In 2025, be yourself. It's your only option...
As usual, @aoc.bsky.social speaks the truth. The government and the corporate media are now wholly owned subsidiaries of oligarchs. I’d like to add that our Supreme Court is, too, and that’s why Trump didn’t face trial for J6 prior to the election.

This coulda been our president-elect tonight America but you chose authoritarianism instead
A mere 4 Republicans can change a vote in the Democrat direction. Not a landslide. Trump, Johnson and Elon should be worried about trying to get radical legislation through...Two years of that should see approval ratings plummet...

“Liberal democracy,” he says, “offers moral constraints without problem-solving” — a lot of rules, not a lot of change — while “populism offers problem-solving without moral constraints.” Terrific piece in the NYT...https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/15/opinion/donald-trump-orban-putin.html

I’ve seen enough to make a call: Bluesky is going to be a legit competitor to Twitter. Sweet.
