From June 29 to July 3, the 11th Meeting of the European Federation for Primatology (EFP) is taking place in France, bringing together primatologists from around the world to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of primate research and conservation.

West African pottos (Perodicticus potto) are native to a wide range throughout West Africa. Solitary, slow-moving, and nocturnal. Because they sleep in tree holes in daytime and freeze in place when threatened, they perish during slash-and-burn deforestation. Listed as Near Threatened.
