View from the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens in Japan. #landscapephotography #kobe #kobeherbgardens #cityscape #japantravel #photography

In the foreground are green plants on sloping ground and a walkway with stairs. There are some posts sticking up from the ground on either side of the walkway. Beyond that is a small white building with a sloping, reddish roof. There are some people and trees near and slightly beyond the building. We are looking down from a high place, and in the distance we see a city with several rather tall buildings. The city is on the edge of some blue water. At the horizon we see some low mountains. The sky at the top of the frame is a mix of clear blue and white clouds.

Manasota Beach Road drawbridge. Englewood, Florida. Shot with my grandfather's Kodak Jiffy camera, a folding camera that was sold from 1934 to 1937. #englewoodflorida #bridgephotography #blackandwhitephotography #filmphotography #vintagekodak #photography #landscapephotography

A black and white photo of a long bridge. The foreground is sandy ground with some grass or weeds, some brush on the left and the right, and a picnic table on the left (difficult to see because it is dark with a dark background). The near end of the bridge is on the left, and the far end on the right. There is an arch on the left, a short tower structure near the middle, and more closely spaced support structures under the further portion of the bridge. There are some trees in the background at the far end of the bridge. The sky is mostly clear, with a streak across it, likely the trail from a jet. The photo is a bit hazy, and has a nostalgic look.

Englewood Beach, Florida at sunset. #englewoodbeach #beachphotography #landscapephotography #sunset #eveninglight #photography

Dramatically colorful sky over a nearly empty beach. There are a few people in the distance, near the water, which is on the right side of the frame. In the background there are some buildings and trees, beyond the sandy beach. There is a thin layer of dark sky right above the horizon. Above that is a layer of white clouds with some irregular shapes on top. Above that is a semicircular shape of clouds that is a mix of pink, orange, yellow and violet. This fills the frame near the top. On either side of this semicircular cloud are some patches of darker blue sky. The light on the beach is a somewhat dark twilight.

Some decaying buildings in Muncie, Indiana. Shot with a vintage Windsor (Diana-clone) "toy" camera, with Kodak Tri-X 400 film. #blackandwhitephotography #filmphotography #dianacamera #toycamera #trix400 #photography

A row of buildings, apparently very old homes, viewed from the back. The roof of the closest building has trim at the top that is ornate, in a style that appears to be from the 1800s. The windows are narrow and tall. There is one tall, narrow chimney extending from the ground to beyond the top of the building. The lower windows are boarded up, and siding appears to have fallen off of the building. In the back, it looks like there was once a stairway on the exterior of the building, but now it is gone. The buildings beyond this one also appear to be in disrepair. A tall tower for a TV antenna is seen attached to one of the buildings. In the background, a much taller building is seen rising above the closer buildings. It appears to be made of concrete, with vertical lines on the surface. Near the top we can see two large AT&T logos. At the top of the building, the structure narrows, but there is a wider, flat roof at the top. In the upper right corner of the frame we see some electrical lines. The foreground is a grassy lawn, and in the lower right corner of the frame we see some large stones in a row. The format of this photo is square, and it is black and white. The photo is blurry around the edges, and there is some vignetting in the corners.
