American by birth, Australian by choice. It has been a long way from 1973, leaving rural Pennsylvania for Art College in Sydney. Unreal career here. 93 return trips to the USA from OZ, and I will never come back as long as the current madness persists.

🚨BREAKING: Russian authorities temporarily suspended arrivals and departures at all four major Moscow airports after a large overnight Ukrainian drone assault. Dozens of flights were canceled and many others delayed, with some passengers temporarily evacuated from terminals.

And the worst thing about this man that isn’t even on the list? As ‘President of the United States’ he has failed and violated the BASIC requirements of empathy and public decency. We expect better. Much better…

State officials have given data centers $1 billion in tax breaks. Abbott asked ERCOT and PUC on June 10 to conduct a review in a month to ensure data centers are not shifting the increased costs for electricity and water onto Texans. His order is little more than a campaign stunt. P 1/2

Greg Abbott is distancing himself from data centers with reelection on the line

Every year people tell Ukraine to compromise To be realistic To accept reality But reality is this: Ukraine was supposed to fall It didn’t Ukraine was supposed to surrender It didn’t Ukraine was supposed to disappear It didn’t Maybe the people giving advice should start being realistic instead

War is easy to start. The bill arrives later. The Pentagon spends billions. We are at THIRTY BILLION PLUS WITH THE IRAN WAR. Markets absorb the shock. Families pay higher prices. Politicians call it “strength.” The cost isn’t measured on Day 1. It’s measured for years after the cameras leave.

Most Texans have never heard of "artificial daylight." But ranchers say massive data centers are lighting up the night and disrupting livestock breeding cycles. These Corrupt Bigshots shouldn't get to experiment on our communities and our food supply.

News graphic from Localize showing a herd of cattle standing in a feedlot. Two circular inset images appear above the herd: one shows a rancher standing among cattle, and the other shows a brightly lit data center complex at night. Large text reads: “Texans say data centers are creating ‘artificial daylight’ disrupting livestock breeding cycles.” The graphic highlights concerns from ranchers that intense lighting from nearby data centers may be affecting livestock behavior and reproduction. The Localize logo appears in the upper left corner.

I'm righteously pissed at Americans for not acting like they have some sense and doing something about this dilemma and just keep letting it continue to get worse and worse at our expense I'm just so offended and ashamed and embarrassed of Americans the whole world is just shaking its head at us

The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. Put it in your cell phone. Use it. If you're not calling at least once a week, you're not doing your part.
