Me when I get bonked on the head and wake up as a Suicune because some fan boy got tired of chasing it all over Johto and decided to take advantage of my fluid being and turn me into the water dog to admire and entrap by constantly feeding me to the point of immobility.
I like the idea that even when wild-shaped, Aerin still makes alveus noises; chirps, purrs, squeaks, yips, etc, in spite of currently being a snake or raven, for instance~
I think that designing a creature around Ray follows some really fun and interesting rules. - The black to blue color scheme is mandatory unless the situation demands otherwise (see Mynion Ray) - The "ray" mark is mandatory, but placement on the chest, while standard, can be arranged elsewhere
- Certain individual features, such as the white eyebrows or the crest, can be adjusted or outright omitted depending on which creature is being designed (See the lack of a crest on both SamuRay and ScoliRay, or eye crests on Raygia now being white) Restrictions oftentimes stoke ingenuity, I think.
When the critter is so phenomenally stuffed that even the subtlest motion is accompanied by a series of noisy sloshes, churns, gurgles, and groans~

A theme I tend to explore in the narrative of my setting is "Life Goes On"; both the good times and the bad times are temporary. The world isn't going to stop because of a particularly good or bad day. It'll just keep going, so cherish the good times, push through the bad, and keep moving forward.
